A rugby coaching clinic at The Caledon!

A rugby coaching clinic with a difference at The Caledon! The Caledon Casino, Hotel Spa and Entertainment, in partnership with Western Province Rugby, arranged a coaching clinic for children from various schools who have a talent or a love for the game. Approximately 100 children under the age of 13 were invited to join the Western Province coaches and team members for an inspiring one-on-one coaching session. Afterwards, the children were given the opportunity to get autographs and take photos with their favourite players. For most of the children, this was their first time meeting the players and interacting with them. The coaches, the players and the children enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Participating schools included Swartberg Primary (Caledon), Matroosbergweg Primary (Belhar), LR Schmidt Primary (Genadendal), Kosie de Wet Primary (Villiersdorp), Overberg Primary (Caledon). Paul Campbell, Director of Operations and Complex General Manager said, “The children soaked in every word and every bit of advice given by the coaches and players.
